China NMN Component Supplement Consumer Survey report in 2020
After hearing about NMN component health care products, nearly 80% of consumers do not have a comprehensive understanding of the efficacy of NMN component health care products, believing that its main efficacy is to enhance immunity and improve sleep.
Most consumers have been exposed to NMN supplements in the last year. Among consumers who are aware of NMN component health care products, there are still fewer consumers who are buying or taking NMN component health care products, and the product still has a large sales space.
In the past two years, the awareness of NMN component health care products in China has gradually improved. Especially after domestic enterprises such as Jindaway entered the market to catch up with foreign enterprises, the search volume of NMN component health care products in e-commerce channels has increased significantly. On July 9, 2020, jindawei NMN product was launched into Tmall flagship store, and the first batch (about 1500 bottles) sold out one week after it was put on the store, which caused a great response on both consumer and social side.
Most of the respondents hope to strengthen their immunity and improve their sleep by taking NMN health care products, while nearly 40% of them hope to repair their skin and achieve beauty whitening effect by taking NMN health care products.
Consumers surveyed chose NMN supplements from a wide range of brands, but nearly half chose NMN ingredients made in the United States, followed by Japan and Australia. For example, jindawi Group, a listed company, has benefited from the concept of "NMN" in the capital market, and its NMN products of Doctor's Best, an American brand, have a high popularity among target groups. In addition, a number of international brands, including GNC, a well-known DIETARY nutrition brand in the United States, also plan to launch NMN-related products globally in November.
The interviewed consumers are willing to pay more for NMN component health care products, and NMN consumers whose annual consumption amount is 2000-4999 yuan are the most. The majority of consumers surveyed (47.7 percent) maintained the frequency of taking NMN supplements once daily.
After taking NMN supplements, the most obvious change was the improvement of mental status, followed by the whiteness and firmness of skin. In addition, the interviewed consumers are satisfied with the efficacy of NMN component health care products, will continue to take them, and are willing to recommend others to buy them.
